In Ukraine, snail dishes are something very exotic.
Every year in Ukraine there are opened many snail farms and this direction is developing very rapidly. In supermarkets and restaurants in our country, it is increasingly common to see snails on the menu. While Ukrainians are just getting to know a new product, in Europe snail meat will surprise no one.
In Europe, snails are eaten for holidays, for example, in France, about 20 tons of snails are eaten for Christmas. The most popular dish is escargot.

In Ukraine, you can find grape snails after the rain. You are unlikely to find garden snails in nature in our area, since they are grown only on farms. Special conditions are created for them. Is snail meat tastes good? Some snails taste like mushrooms, and some like chicken meat. In fact, snail meat is quite neutral and additional ingredients give it flavor. (mustard, garlic, spices).
